The arrangement of the internal space as well as the access strategy of the project respond to two main goals: Improving the experience of the customer creating a clear wayfinding and wide circulation, and arranging a sequenced and organised logistics that avoid interfering with the shopping activity and favour the overall efficiency of the new cash&carry.
The finalised landscaping works around the new under construction 3,000sqm commercial premises consist of:
The aerial view shows the main commercial building under construction next to the provisional marquee which was key for the market activity to continue uninterrupted.
The delivery group GLOVO assigned Mur Arquitectura the design of their first urban warehouse which will aim to optimize the delivery times and improve the service to the customers. The construction of the project was led by the contractor company ArtiCo Obras y Servicios S.L.
The new logistic center is allocated in the barcelonian district of Sant Martí and has a 500 sqm net area. The urban depot will allow GLOVO to be more efficient on their deliveries within the city with a maximum estimated time of 15 minutes per journey. An innovative proposal that will benefit both company and customers.
The new Esclat premises located at the Montigalà Business and Shopping Centre will have a sales room of 3,400 sqm. The site will have large outdoor and basement parking areas with EV charging stations and bicycle parking zones.
A petrol station and a small convenience store with a collection point for online orders will also be part of the programme.
The opening of the Esclat Centre is planned for November 2020.
The works of the new Headquarters office building for Moventia have come to an end. The 7,000 sqm building is located at 103 Via Augusta Avenue in Sant Cugat del Vallès, near Barcelona.
The new building sits within a mixed use scheme which also has an Esclat hypermarket using cutting-edge technology to provide customers energy-efficient shopping experience, a 3 floor basement car park and a petrol station. These have also been developed by Mur Arquitectura.
Mur Arquitectura has finalised the extension project of the convention meeting rooms in the Melià Sitges Hotel.
